Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service form an agreement between Voyage and the person or organization using the service. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using Voyage, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Notice and Acceptable Use Policy.
Public signup is intended for independent flight instructors in the United States who can enter a binding agreement. Students join only through an instructor invitation. A minor may not create an account; the limited minor-roster rules described in our policies apply instead.
Accounts and workspaces
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, use reasonable account security, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by Voyage's breach of these terms.
A workspace owner administers the paid workspace and may invite instructor collaborators. Collaborators can work with permitted workspace records but cannot access owner-only billing, Stripe, export, or workspace settings. Students may belong to multiple instructor workspaces, but each workspace remains separate. Do not attempt to access another workspace or invite a person without a legitimate training relationship and required authority.
Trial, subscription, and quotas
The instructor plan includes a 14-day trial with no card required, followed by a $39 monthly subscription plus applicable tax. Current quotas are displayed on the Pricing page and at checkout. Voyage does not charge metered overages; the affected action pauses when a quota is reached.
If a trial ends without payment or a subscription becomes past due, unpaid, paused, canceled, or otherwise inactive, the workspace becomes read-only immediately. A cancellation scheduled for period end remains active through the paid period. Stripe's Customer Portal is used to manage the payment method and cancellation where available.
Student payments and Stripe Connect
An instructor may connect a Stripe account and send one-time invoices to adult students. The instructor is the merchant of record, sets the final amount and description, pays Stripe processing fees, provides any required receipt or tax treatment, and handles refunds, disputes, and student-payment support. Voyage does not add a platform transaction fee at launch.
Stripe hosts payment entry and controls connected-account onboarding and payment availability. Voyage cannot guarantee that Stripe will approve or continue an account or payment method. An invoice amount cannot be changed after Checkout begins; the instructor must cancel and recreate it.
Instructor responsibilities
The instructor is responsible for the legality, accuracy, and professional use of student records; guardian consent where applicable; scheduling and cancellation policies; tax and business obligations; and all training, endorsement, readiness, currency, and operational decisions.
The instructor must maintain any authoritative logbook, endorsement, instructor record, citizenship or security-training evidence, and other documentation required by current law. Voyage may organize supporting metadata but does not assume those regulatory duties.
Aviation and AI limitations
Voyage is training-operations software. It is not an official pilot logbook, FAA authorization or endorsement system, approved weather briefing source, dispatch service, airworthiness system, or substitute for instructor, pilot-in-command, examiner, maintenance, or regulatory judgment.
Weather information is supplemental and can be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. AI output can be inaccurate and must be reviewed by a qualified person. Do not use Voyage or AI output as the sole basis for a flight, solo, endorsement, currency, checkride, medical, or safety decision.
Your content and permitted use
You retain rights in content you lawfully submit. You grant Voyage a limited license to host, process, transmit, copy, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service and comply with law.
You represent that you have the rights and authority needed to enter content, invite users, and direct Voyage to process it. You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy and may not upload prohibited sensitive documents or use Voyage to violate another person's privacy or rights.
Service changes and availability
We may improve, add, limit, or retire features and may perform maintenance. We will use reasonable care to communicate a material change that significantly reduces a paid core feature. Beta or preview functionality may be identified separately and can change or end.
No online service is uninterrupted. We may temporarily restrict access to protect security, integrity, users, or the service. This does not transfer any aviation, recordkeeping, or backup responsibility to Voyage.
Suspension, cancellation, and data
You may cancel through the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, material breach, fraud, security risk, unlawful conduct, or harm to the service or another person. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure a non-urgent breach.
After access ends, general workspace data remains available read-only for 90 days for viewing and export, then is scheduled for deletion. Limited records can remain in a restricted compliance archive only where applicable law requires a longer retention period. You are responsible for exporting authoritative records before deletion.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Voyage is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or that the service will be error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, Voyage will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost business, lost data, or an aviation or training decision made by a user. Voyage's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the subscription fees paid to Voyage in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Contact and changes
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@voyage-us.com.
We may update these terms. We will publish the effective date and provide reasonable notice before a material change applies to an existing paid subscription. Continued use after the applicable date means you accept the updated terms; if you do not agree, cancel and export your information before the change takes effect.
