Acceptable use policy

The Voyage Acceptable Use Policy defines safe, lawful use of instructor workspaces, aviation data, AI, files, messaging, and student payments.

Effective and last updated: July 19, 2026

Use Voyage lawfully and professionally

Use Voyage only for lawful flight-training operations, legitimate business administration, and authorized student participation. Follow applicable aviation, privacy, consumer, payment, intellectual-property, export, and communications laws and the professional obligations that apply to you.

Protect accounts and workspace boundaries

Do not access, test, probe, or interfere with an account, workspace, record, API, file, or system unless you own it or have explicit authorization. Do not share accounts, bypass access controls or quotas, replay invitations or payment events, scrape private data, or misrepresent your identity or role.

  • Use a unique password and available multi-factor authentication
  • Invite only people with a legitimate training or business relationship
  • Report suspected account compromise promptly
  • Keep exports and downloaded files protected after they leave Voyage

Do not misuse aviation or AI information

Do not present Voyage as an official logbook, endorsement authority, FAA approval, approved weather briefing, dispatch release, maintenance release, or automated determination that a person or aircraft is safe, legal, current, qualified, or ready.

Do not use AI output without qualified human review or request content intended to deceive a student, examiner, regulator, payment provider, or another person. Never use Voyage output as the sole basis for an operational flight decision.

Upload only permitted content

You may upload lower-risk training files that you have a right to use. Do not upload government-ID images, passports, Social Security numbers, medical records or certificate images, full payment-card information, passwords or secret keys, malware, unlawful surveillance material, or content that infringes another person's rights.

Respect students and minors

Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, or impersonate another user. Do not enter unnecessary sensitive information into messages, notes, AI prompts, or email.

A minor may appear only as a minimal roster entry with documented guardian consent. Do not create a minor portal account, send automated email or a payment request to a minor, enable AI for a minor, or upload a minor's files until Voyage provides a dedicated guardian workflow.

Use payments honestly

Do not use Voyage or Stripe Connect for fraud, prohibited businesses, deceptive invoices, money transmission, cash advances, sanctions evasion, or a payment unrelated to a legitimate instructor-student relationship. Instructors must accurately describe charges and handle taxes, receipts, refunds, disputes, and student support as merchant of record.

Do not disrupt the service

Do not introduce malware, flood the service, automate abusive requests, evade rate limits, reverse engineer protected components except where law permits, interfere with background jobs or email, or use Voyage in a way that unreasonably burdens infrastructure or other users.

Enforcement and reporting

We may remove content, limit a feature, suspend a workspace, preserve evidence, or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to investigate or address a violation, security risk, fraud, legal request, or harm. We consider context, severity, repetition, and available remediation and may provide an opportunity to cure when safe and appropriate.
